So far so good!

I'm always skeptical to buy leather watch strap without actually touching and feeling the product. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised when receiving this strap for my "vintage" 1970s Seiko. I will update my review after a few months of wearing it.

Upgrade

Needed a replacement for the silicone band that crumbled after two years and wanted to dress it up a little. This is a perfect fit,takes a sport watch to another level.

Easy to install and comes with pins.

Easy to install and has the alligator look. But it is very stiff, wish it was a soft leather like what came with the watch.

This is a beautiful Alligator embossed watch band with a great, natural color and feel, stitched well to a softer inner fabric that feels nice on the wrist, seems able to absorb sweat nicely and evaporates well when watch is not worn. The attached pic shows how nicely it compliments my faux retro 1929-1940s Gruen Curvex wrist watch. The 2nd pic shows the attached band next to the original band. I did not like that unnatural reddish tint, plus that band was too small. I needed the XL strap. It fits me well. I did not mind paying a bit more. Also, all the hardware of the watch band appears to be quality also. I am very satisfied.

More Red than Brown, but BEAUTIFUL.

I ordered the BROWN strap to go on my Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 with the red bezel. This watch can be purchased with either a reddish brown strap or a bracelet. Having ordered the bracelet version, I wanted to find an aftermarket strap to go with the watch. This was a bit challenging as I was looking for brown with reddish, oxblood overtones to it. The quality of this strap looked great from the pics and the third pic of the brown strap showed a reddish hue, so I took a gamble and pulled the trigger. And I'm SO GLAD I did. The strap is absolutely perfect for what I needed.First, the strap is indeed reddish in tone, in fact much more than I expected. This was fantastic for my particular watch, but if you're looking for something that is indeed brown, this may not work for you.Second, the padding is robust and adds some dimension to the strap. Since I was putting this on a diver, this was important. Some straps say padded, but have almost none. This padding on this is excellent and thins out as you get to the buckle.Thirdly, the Alligator styling looks good and looks natural.Fourth, the strap has an oily gloss, which I love.Lastly, the buckle is robust as well, not thin like you see in most aftermarket straps.I have never heard of "Bandini" before, but I will include it in all my future watch strap searches, because this was a great deal for the money, given that the Christopher Ward strap sells for $70. I can't speak for longevity, but it appears to be a well-made strap that will last for a long time.
